WHITE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE

WHITE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE
Paleo & Whole 30 compliant
 
1/3 cup white balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper (more mild in flavor than black)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Dijon or stone ground mustard (optional)
1 cup walnut oil

In a small bowl, mix vinegar with spices and seasonings.  If you are using salt, add it to the vinegar and stir to give it a chance to dissolve.  Key step... Drizzle the oil into the vinegar mixture while whisking or blending with an immersion blender.  This will thicken the vinaigrette.  Store in a decorative glass jar and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
