GRILLED SHRIMP AND SCALLOPS with CITRUS DIPPING SAUCE
Paleo and Whole 30 compliant
1 pound large sea scallops
1 pound large shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
Seafood Marinade:
Juice from one freshly squeezed orange
2 tablespoons walnut or avocado oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
Citrus Dipping Sauce:
Juice from one freshly squeezed orange
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons coconut aminos
1 pound large shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
Seafood Marinade:
Juice from one freshly squeezed orange
2 tablespoons walnut or avocado oil

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Juice from one freshly squeezed orange

2 tablespoons coconut aminos
* Mix marinade ingredients in small bowl. Place seafood in large glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well and cover the dish.
* Refrigerate seafood in marinade.30 minutes.
* Meanwhile, prepare the dipping sauce.
mix all ingredients in medium bowl until well blended. Set aside. Remove
seafood from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
* Alternately
thread shrimp and scallops onto skewers or skip the skewers and use a cast iron grill pan. *If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30-60 mins. prior to threading the seafood; to prevent the wood from burning.
* Grill seafood over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque. Do not overcook scallops as they will shrink and toughen
