BAKED PEPPER TILAPIA

Meal Menu Idea:
Baked Pepper Tilapia
Roasted Asparagus
Baby Spinach with a squeeze of Lemon




BAKED PEPPER TILAPIA

Tilapia filets (1/2 lb per person)
Drizzle avocado or walnut oil
Freshly ground pepper
Fresh Lemon or Lime wedges


* Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
* Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. 
* Rinse fish and pat dry with paper towel; place on parchment paper lined baking sheet
* Lightly drizzle oil over fish.
* Generously sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
* Bake for 18-0 mins. (for 1 inch thick fillets) or until fish looses its translucency and flakes easily when a fork is inserted in the thickest part and twisted slightly.  Thin fillets take less time, thicker fillets take longer so watch over them carefully!  Do not over bake! 
* Remove Tilapia from the oven and serve immediately.
* Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge or squeeze fresh juice over the top.
* Add a steamed vegetable and/or big tossed salad with homemade vinaigrette!
