He is big, really big! It's painfully obvious he's there. Surely you can see him? The five-toed pachyderm with prehensile trunk and enormous flapping ears used to be smaller and gentler. Not now! He's something akin to an angry-eyed, swaying, snorting bull in an attack stance. Maybe you've got one, too?
Go ahead. See if you have an elephant at home. Pick a room in the house, sit down (anywhere, even on the floor) take a few minutes and scan the room. Chances are you will see projects from corner to corner that are begging for attention. They might be 'fix it', 'paint it', 'recycle it', or 'toss it' projects but they exist in every home as an obvious truth deliberately ignored by all parties in the situation. Those unclaimed, unfinished projects ARE the proverbial 'elephant in the room'. The task of organizing and de-junking a home is first about acknowledgement. The 8 ton, 13 feet tall, pawing pachyderm in the room is demanding attention, will you acknowledge it?
Acknowledged. Now what? How do you remove it from your household? Join us as we share our knowledge and experience one step at a time, setting goals, creating new habits and clearing paths to shove the elephant out the door. Glean what is applicable to your own situation and carry it through to completion. Let's get rid of the elephants in our living rooms, shall we?

Our motto: "If we don't use it... we lose it!" This Spring the goal includes donating clothes and shoes to charity and selling the rest at a garage sale with all proceeds heading for JAPAN to aid earthquake victims. There are great causes in our own country and around the world that could benefit from our excess and leftovers. Please consider picking a cause close to your heart and donating or selling your clutter to benefit and bless others!
