SEASONED GREEN BEANS

SEASONED GREEN BEANS  

Paleo & Whole 30 compliant

1 lb. green beans (Choose young, slender, organic green beans. Wash but do not trim the ends)
1 Tablespoon Ghee
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper

* Heat a cast iron or stainless steel skillet over medium heat. 
* Add Ghee and green beans, season with salt and cook 2 minutes.
* Add 1/4 cup water, cover and cook 2 minutes, then uncover and boil until the water evaporates.  

** Note: Green beans are cooked perfectly when they are bright green, tender crisp and hold their shape without wilting. 

* Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper.
* Serve immediately.
* Cool and refrigerate leftovers in a sealed glass container.
