GRILLED TURKEY SLIDERS (Mini Burgers)

Meal Menu Idea:
Grilled Turkey Sliders
Roasted Red Potatoes (Whole 30)  or Sweet Potatoes (Paleo)
Avocado and Tomato Slices
Grilled Onion drizzled with Homemade Vinaigrette

GRILLED TURKEY SLIDERS

1 pound natural turkey breast, freshly ground
Garlic powder
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper

* Shape meat into 8 patties. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
* For charcoal grill: Grill the patties on a greased rack, over ashy coals, uncovered for 3-4 minutes per side or until done.  Check each patty with a quick read Thermopen and remove from grill when internal temperature reaches 150 degrees. Turkey will dry out if overcooked!
* For gas grill: Preheat grill.  Reduce heat to medium. Place patties on greased grill rack. Cover and grill as above.
* While sliders are grilling, slice tomato and avocado. Set aside.

*Top burgers with a sliced of avocado and tomato.  Serve 'naked' beside a plateful of salad with red onion and homemade vinaigrette or drizzled with oil and vinegar.   Enjoy!
