EATING HEALTHY AND LIVING WELL

Science and health.
No one doubts that science continues making advances in discovering what is healthy for us to eat. Interestingly enough, the more science discovers about genetically engineered foods and their unwelcome side effects, the more basic the overall message remains.  The key to eating healthy and living well is still whole foods in their natural state.  By design, our bodies are made to consume (grass-fed) lean meats, fresh seafood, organic vegetables and fruits, seeds and nuts.  These are the healthiest, most naturally delicious foods you can eat, and it is no accident that they are also the foods that taste best when prepared simply.  That is the essence and beauty of the Paleo diet.

Passion and finances.
For some, cooking is a passionate hobby and for others it is something on the 'must do' list for the day.  Which ever way you are wired, making healthy meals every week to feed yourself and/or your family is an economical, healthy choice.  For those who doubt the economics... you might be shocked how much money is saved when processed foods are completely eliminated, restaurants are curbed to rare occasions and eating at home becomes a daily event.  For families like ours that have a working 'food' budget, the money saved is enough to cover the costs of quality meats and produce.

Permission granted.
It is my passion to equip my beloved family and others with recipes, knowledge and the skills to go into the future armed and ready to make healthy choices in whatever circumstances they find themselves.  The recipes are family friendly, simple ingredients and easy to prepare.  Best of all, they are all are 'tried and true' from our kitchen to yours.  The recipes are not copyrighted nor are they for sale.  They are a gift to you and your family, therefore, you have permission to print, copy, share and make your own tweaks and adjustments to suit your tastes.

Eat healthy, live well,  bless others and enjoy each day as a gift
